Cue's Hip Hop Shop, Vol. 1 compiles tracks by some of the most accomplished underground hip-hop artists on the West Coast. The collection is sponsored by Cue's, a popular record store in Daly City, CA, that specializes in underground hip-hop. In addition to West Coast artists such as Rasco, Kut Masta Kurt, Live Human, and Westside Chemical, there are a few East Coast artists featured here who also happen to be the collection's most well known performers: Rob Swift (Queens, NY), Roc Raida (Bronx, NY), and Mr. Dibbs (Cincinnati, OH).
